Family Day

Can I tell you a secret about married life?

Once you get married, everything in your life becomes so busy, with school, and work, and then trying to match up your schedule with your significant other.. It becomes a little bit of a task. 

So today, the both of us had free time.. Well Jord had class in the morning but we still decided to take full advantage of the opportunity to do something during the day. On days unlike today you would see our usual late night runs to the gas station (after I get off work) and then we netflix as many shows as possible of the current tv show we are on.. Until we get so tired we fall asleep. 

Today was different. We both love the outdoors and I am always up for new adventures and finding new stuff for us to do.. Which I'm sure Jordan is used to by now, because I spring these spontaneous ideas on him last minute. Like today.. Haha. But he ended up loving it so I think I scored some brownie points ;). 

While Jord was in class I got stuff ready for our little adventure. I threw on my swimsuit, packed some towels, and packed a lunch because I knew we would get hungry. As soon as Jordan got home we packed everything in the car, including Daisy and we were off. The drive was longer than we expected, but let's just say we have a cure for all road trips.. Disney soundtracks. And if you asked Jordan, he wouldn't admit it, but that is his favorite playlist on my iPod. He would kill me for telling you this, but he has "A Whole New World" memorized. Finally, we reached our destination.. And now it was just the hike we had to overcome and we would make it! It took us an hour, and it was pretty uphill on some parts... But soo worth it.
